Markey is House author of the historic Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act

 
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressmen Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) and Joe Barton (R-Texas), co-Chairmen of the Bi-Partisan Privacy Caucus, will join Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Chairman Jon Leibowitz to announce the update and modernization of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
