CAMBRIDGE, MA--Rep. Edward J. Markey (D-Malden), chairman of twin energy and environment panels in the House and Secretary of Energy Steven Chu today spoke at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. At the event, entitled, “Laying the Foundation for the Next Generation of Clean Energy Jobs,” Markey and Chu discussed green jobs, the threat of global climate change, and the Waxman-Markey clean energy legislation.

The forum was cosponsored by the Institute of Politics and the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and was held in cooperation with Rep. Markey.
