WASHINGTON, D.C. - Representative Edward Markey (D-MA) will join the Boston Red Sox the 2004 World Series Champions at a 3:30 PM gathering at the White House.
“Every Red Sox fan has dreamt of the day we would join the world’s greatest baseball team in the White House. Now that this dream has come true, we need a new dream – a repeat World Series championship and the simultaneous use of the word “dynasty” for the Pats and the Sox!”
Markey and the Massachusetts delegation will attend President Bush’s celebration for Sox ballplayers.
