Markey (D-Mass.), senior member of the Energy and Commerce Committee and author of the 21st Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act, released the following statement after AT&T announced it is making its FaceTime application available to all deaf and hard of hearing customers.

“AT&T’s decision to make FaceTime available to its customers who are deaf and hard of hearing is a positive step. I will continue to encourage the company to ensure that all of its customers can use FaceTime, regardless of what billing plan they subscribe to.”
