Carbon Calculator

The average American contributes about 20 tons of heat-trapping carbon pollution to the atmosphere every year. To figure out how much you contribute, and how you could reduce your emissions, check out these links below to a few handy carbon calculators.

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency calculator
Use this online calculator to obtain an estimate of your personal or family’s heat-trapping emissions. Then move on to the next section of the calculator to explore actions you and/or your family can take to lower your emissions while reducing your energy costs.

The Nature Conservancy calculator
This calculator gives you real-time feedback on your emissions as you adjust your answers. Breaks emissions down by your activities, whether it's in a car, at home, or even going out for a meal, and gives you ways to reduce these emissions.
