Green Capital: Seeding Innovation and the Future Economy
On Wednesday, April 16, Chairman Edward Markey (D-Mass.) and the Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming will hold a hearing on the seeding of the renewable energy future from private financial investment. With the urgency of addressing our climate crisis and economic troubles increasing, and an administration and certain elements of Congress still recalcitrant to enacting renewable energy and climate policies, the role of private investment to spur immediate growth in renewable energy and green jobs is essential.
