Chairman Markey visits the Washington, DC Auto Show
When he visited the Auto Show in Washington, DC last week, Chairman Markey saw firsthand many of the fuel efficient vehicles that will help consumers save money and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Stressing the need to pass the economic recovery package which includes 2.6 billion in funding for advanced battery technology for cars, Markey said investing in green car factories will help put Americans back to work.
